Sean Collins has been fundraising for more than twenty years.  He has extensive experience in capital campaigns, major donor cultivation and solicitation, annual giving, development office management, investment oversight, budgeting, program evaluation, grant writing and management, and special events.
 
Sean began his fundraising career as the Director of  Development for Children of Bellevue, Inc. at Bellevue Hospital Center in New York City.  He then served on its board of directors having various  responsibilities including chair of the development committee and board president.  In  addition, Sean was a trustee of Buckley Country Day School in Roslyn, Long Island,  New York for ten years.  He worked on two capital campaigns, seven annual giving  programs, initiated and implemented donor cultivation events, special events, served on its finance, investment, nominating, and buildings and grounds committees.  Sean has  also provided development, finance, membership, and operational counsel for a number of other non- profit organizations.
 
Sean also spent 20 years working in the financial services industry.  He has both equity and fixed income investment experience from his work at Merrill Lynch, Weiss Peck & Greer, Credit Suisse Asset Management, and New Amsterdam Partners.  Sean first worked as a product specialist and then as a client service officer.
 
Sean is a graduate of New York University’s Stern School of Business with an MBA and holds a BS from Virginia Tech. He lives on Long Island with his wife and two teenage sons.

Diana J. Collins

Diana joined Long Pond Advisors in 2015 as Director in charge of all business administration and operations after a long and distinguished career at Merrill Lynch & Co. Among her many accomplishments, Diana was Merrill’s 2013 recipient of the prestigious David Brady Award given to an employee for their exemplification of the firm’s values of client focus, respect for the individual, teamwork, responsible citizenship, and integrity.
 
During her tenure at Merrill she was Director and Senior Trader on the Equity Trading desk, servicing top Financial Advisors throughout the country, focusing on a top Venture Service team in San Francisco. Prior to her role in trading, Diana was a marketing specialist providing advice to Financial Advisors at Merrill.

Diana started her business career at one of the largest book chains in the country, Waldenbooks. She worked her way up in the company becoming District Manager for the Long Island/NYC territory. She also led the rollout and expansion of their software division, a $35 million, 64-store chain across 27 states.
